Cimarron release new album Orinoco (Finally!)

Colombian music band Cimarrón released new studio album Orinoco this Friday, after the success of their two albums recorded by Smithsonian Folkways, with which they earned a Grammy nomination for Best Traditional World Music Album and also won 2012 Independent Music Awards for Best Latin Album.
Hope you enjoy this amazing music video filmed at the top of Mavecure mountains in the depth of the Amazonian rainforest, same location as the Oscar-nominated Colombian movie “Embrace of the Serpent” (2015).
Colombian roots music band Cimarron earned two nominations for 2019 Independent Music Awards that will be held June 22 in New York.

Cimarrón is back with some new music for 2019. The first new offering of the Colombian roots band is a cover of the traditional folk song “Caballo Viejo”, worldwide known as “Bamboleo”, 80’s hit from flamenco group Gipsy Kings.
Cimarron released this November 30th their new single "Zumbajam" with a videoclip filmed in the depths of the Colombian Eastern Plains.
